The 9th International TV/Producer Seminar
The participants came from Africa (Cameroon, RD Congo, Togo), Asia (Hong Kong), Europe (Belgium, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Russia, Slovakia, Switzerland, Vatican), Latin America (Argentina, Brazil), and the Middle East (Israel). They brought to the seminar a rich diversity of programmes and perspectives: from public broadcasters to independent producers, from the tele-novelas of the Brazilian Seculo 21 to the Father Chef cooking programme of Hong Kong, from the voice of the Holy Land by the Franciscan Multimedia Centre in Jerusalem to the voice of Congo through the songs of Ngayime Studio, from the project of Catholic TV in Togo to the multimedia initiative H2Onews...
The seminar also gave the opportunity to explore new projects such as an online Catholic programme bank and a cinema talk show for the web. These two ongoing projects, along with many others, are questioning the future of television in a multimedia environment. This will certainly be again a hot topic in the next SIGNIS TV Seminar that will be held next year.

The participants at the seminar, in presence of the Archbishop of Luxemburg and the Vicar General.
