Salesian School in Europe
A documentary about Salesian schools and vocational training centres (filmed on the occasion of the Congreso Europeo Escuelas Salesianas - in Sevilla)
Sevilla - Sanlucar la Mayor hosted from 25 to 28 February 2010, the 3rd European Congress of the
Salesian School: 230 persons among religious and lay people involved as teachers or educators
in schools and training centers of the Salesians of Don Bosco and the Daughters of Mary Help of
Christians.
The Congress presented the work of the last five years an defined the teacher's profile and the
training which build it: the teacher is a witness. He lives a charisma and a style.
Two essential needs were pointed out: defining homogeneous processes of evaluation and self-
evaluation for the Salesian school in Europe, defining training courses specficially Salesian.
2 episodes 40' each about the cathoilc schools in Europe.
Each episode has 4 or 5 steps in studio with short interviews to teachers or experts and 4 or 5 reportage in different european situations.
