All God's Beggars explores the effects of government policy on asylum seekers. Some asylum seekers are incarcerated in detention centres, often behind razor wire and in remote areas. All God's Beggars centres around the work of advocates in the agencies set up to help them - both in detention and while on temporary bridging visas that deny access to health care and restrict them from working.
