The 10-year old Patrick from Suriname is secretely in love with the prettiest girl in his class, the turkish/dutch Yahide. When teacher Rob is giving out the parts of the Christmas musical, Patrick desperately wants to play the leading part of Jozef, because Yahide is going to play Maria.

The 10-year old Patrick from Suriname is secretely in love with the prettiest girl in his class, the turkish/dutch Yahide. When teacher Rob is giving out the parts of the Christmas musical, Patrick desperately wants to play the leading part of Jozef, because Yahide is going to play Maria. Unfortunately he is choosen to play Baltasar, the black king. Patrick won't give up and tries to find ways to play Jozef anyhow. Will he succeed to stand side by side Yahide on stage ?
