At the Western Cap University, a group of Catholic students coming from the four corners of the world has joined the ACTS (Association of Catholic Tertiary Students), particularly active in the field of prevention. Led by Father Mike, aged 50, Scottish , they joined to be at the service of ill and dying people contaminated by the AIDS virus. They voluntarily bring support and comfort to those who have been abandoned. They also exchange with the other students about AIDS, spreading a message of hope.

Le cap d’espérance
Un documentaire réalisé par Grégoire Gosset (26’) L’Afrique du Sud est le pays d’Afrique le plus touché par le SIDA : aujourd’hui 1 personne sur 4 est infectée ! A l’université de Western Cap, un groupe d’étudiants catholiques venus des quatre coins du pays, ont rejoint l’association ACTS (Association of Catholic Tertiary Students), particulièrement active en matière de prévention. Encadrés par le père Mike, 50 ans, écossais, ils se sont engagés au service des malades et des mourants, contaminés par le virus HIV. Bénévolement, ils apportent soutien et réconfort à des malades abandonnés de tous. Ils s’investissent également pour échanger avec les autres étudiants sur les enjeux du SIDA et multiplier ainsi la diffusion d’un message d’espoir.
